A beautiful and striking Christiane Spangsberg print.
The official Christiane Spangsberg print for Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2018. Christiane Spangsberg’s art is the modernist simplicity of intimate line faces in hues of rich blue. This is a highly sort after print, as the artist does not produce her work in printed format.
Spangsberg’s style is reminiscent of Picasso and Matisse. Her Fauvist-inspired drawings have become something of a sensation; popping up everywhere in fashion, design and online circles worldwide. Inspired by sculptures and statues, most of her creations are done in one go: the pen or paintbrush doesn’t leave the paper until the figure is completed.

Christiane is an artist inspired by originality and imperfection. Originally Christiane comes from Vejle in Jutland, Denmark, where she was born in 1989. She currently resides in Osterbro, Copenhagen
Spangsberg is self-taught, with drawing as the only formal training. She has within a few years created a distinctive body of abstract paintings and one-line drawings exhibited in sold out solo shows in Paris (2018), Sydney (2017), London (2017) and New York (2017). Her work has been featured in magazines such as Unconditional Magazine and Vogue, and she has collaborated with labels like Matteau Swim and Maison Balzac (2016). She was chosen to create the 40 edition poster for Copenhagen Jazz Festival in 2018.
This Christiane Spangsberg print is most likely going to be highly collectable in years to come, certainly one to add to your art collection.
