Rhoko is a huge fan of Jude Jelfs pottery. This is a beautiful example of her nude figure vases. Her skilfully sculpted masterpieces evoke the work of Henry Moore and Alberto Giacometti; the vivid blue tones of Rotunda, bring to mind the energy and beauty of Matisse’s “Blue Nude II”.
Hand slab-built earthenware, with vitreous slips built up in layers. The surface is a waxed silk finish. The inside of the vessels are glazed with a lead-free white glaze and will hold water for flowers.

Jude’s fine art background certainly shines through these wonderfully formed, and functional ceramic sculptures. We predict these will be highly collectable items in the future. Her pottery studio is located in the Cotswolds.
