Always a consistent source of inspiration Mr Tadanori Yokoo (b. 1936)
He’s been unfairly described as the Japanese Andy Warhol, or likened to psychedelic poster artist Peter Max. However his complex and multilayered imagery is intensely autobiographical and entirely original. In the late 60’s he became intrigued by mysticism and psychedelia, which was deepened by travelling in India.
We are so pleased to have found one of his exhibition posters, which is for sale in the shop.
We also have contacts to some of his earlier work, original prints, which are extremely difficult to come by. Drop us a line, if you are interested in re-homing one of his pieces.
